when i visit random Neocities sites there's a 50% chance the page makes my display flicker with thin green lines all over the screen. no idea why this happens and i just accept it at this point.
also the comic i uploaded yesterday is named after this song by Hiroshi Moriya. and the "narration" in the comic are my favorite lyrics from the song. i'm excited to make more comics in the future, the pride of finishing one its kind of addicting hehehe

the comics section on my gallery has been empty for a while huh? i finished the first panel of a simple 2 page comic i hope to upload "soon." lets hope all my time spend studying Otomo's work finally pays off

the sidebar experiment was fun but i'm going back to everything being in the same box. i prefer this style a lot more, not trying to do anything too crazy or whatever. it also feels more "old school" to me or something like that
one thing i cant figure out: if i should have separate warnings on my art. how it looked before left a bad taste in my mouth. i rather just have these wall of links you click and get what you get. i've wanted to try symbols to mark if it's "sensitive" or not without listing anything, but what symbols? using Lightbox2 probably makes this redundant anyway

ah, i finished my reread of AKIRA a few days ago. all i have to say after it is fuck yeah i am Tetsuo. AKIRA is the best thing in this world. being Fictionkin is great.

today's another sort of AKIRA anniversary of mine. today marks five years since i got the 35th Anniversary box set and finished reading the manga for the 1st time. i have to finish my recent re-read of AKIRA soon, too. volume 6 is an intimidating book.

i don't change the main part of my site much, aside from tweaks or whatever.. but i decided to go with a bit of a new look. i think things will still be tweaked for a bit till im totally satisfied. but i like it. felt inspired by some other sites and such

today is my 5 year anniversary since i first watched Akira!!!!!
this is extremely corny but... on this day i watched the movie the first time and my life was changed forever since then. without AKIRA i wouldn't be myself today. i'm just gonna relax and watch the movie later tonight like i always do on this day
